The state Office of Planning filed a motion in support of the motion filed by South Maui Citizens for Responsible Growth, Maui Tomorrow, and Daniel Kanahele challenging the legality of the Pi’ilani Promenade outlet and retail centers.  The office of Planning’s Motion concluded that  there is suffiecient basis to conclude that the Pi’ilani Promenade shopping center is not in compliance with representations made to the Land Use Commission and has not taken steps to amend original representation to the commission.
