Is your neighborhood affected by this Water Department proposed action?

The Maui County Department of Water Supply has announced that segments of Kihei are subject to complete cut off of water supply beginning Tuesday 6/14/16 at 9:00 AM as well as the following day. The areas named include

• Hale Kai Street, Kihei
• Hoalike Street, Kihei
• Maui High Tech Park, Kihei
• Auhana Road, from Haukai Place to Kuli Puu Street, Kihei
• Haukai Place, Kihei
• Aluna Place, Kihei
• Auina Place, Kihei

The Department will have “water wagons” available in some of the areas, but it seems prudent to prepare by storing as much as you can before the potential shut off.  Everyone in S Maui is encouraged to conserve as much as possible (even if you already do so) to lessen overall usage which may diminish the affect on neighbors in these targeted areas
