Friday morning (June 1) brought  together individuals from various organizations to explore and discuss “water quality” issues including pollution of the Kai, as well as neighborhood flooding in North Kihei. Maui Nui Marine Resources Council (MNMRC), Whale Sanctuary (HIHWNMS), SouthWest Maui Watershed Project (SMWP) and Kihei Community Association (KCA), –some guys wear more than one hat,– met at the Sanctuary office on SKR for an opening discussion before heading out to examine watershed segments in the area.
