UPDATE  6/24/16: Since we had a comment question about reopening which we answered, seemed appropriate to alert everyone the pool should be open for the upcoming Independence Day weekend. NO GUARANTEE! But that is how it looks.

Were you aware of this? We sure were not, and only learned of it in a County Press Release issued on Sunday of a holiday weekend, advising the closing begins Monday morning, Jan 4, 2016. While we completely understand that county facilities have to be maintained, which at times makes for temporary inconvenience to residents and visitors, but a major closure extending for six months was surely planned with a lot of lead time. Did we miss advance notices on the County Website or in the media?
