Put 5:30 PM on Tuesday, October 8 on your calendar! The various departments of the County Administration will be at the Kihei Community Center to accept input from South Maui residents. Historically our district has received a considerably smaller allotment of capital improvement funds than comparable districts like West Maui and Central Maui for this entire century in the Mayor’s budget. When challenged on this matter, various spokespeople advise it all balances out – but fact is, it has NOT!  So is 2021 the year for our district?  It can only happen if South Maui has a strong loud community voice!!  Bring yours to the Community Center.
