Is this the work or witches and goblins or perhaps a errant driver?Apparently something caused a Maui Electric Co (MECO) highway light pole to topple from its post this morning (10/31/13) mauka the Pi’ilani highway right at Kaonoulu. Is this some foretelling of the future of the proposed commercial development at this precise location to be revealed by Sarofim Realty this Tuesday, 11/5/13 at 6:00 PM just down the road at the Kihei Community Center? (See related post.)
Also does anyone know what these brightly colored items are in the northeast segment of the land parcels?

I was thinking that the week before they put up new light pole, there was a car accident where car ran off road in that area for some reason. I saw police cars there and the car(in ditch)there while cycling South on Pi’ilani Hwy. So my guess is car hit pole and knocked down.
