We will have a report of the Land Use Commission’s (LUC) decision concerning the proposed Pi’ilani Promenade commercial center, a.k.a mega malls, mauka of Pi’ilani Hwy at Kaonoulu in No Kihei. We’ll learn what the decision by the commissioners means and what might happen next. Also a report of major changes to the pump out program at Maalaea Harbor, and the potential effect on our So Maui near shore waters. Are you satisfied with development in Kihei? Is anyone satisfied how it grew to this point? Since our community will continue to grow, how can it be done better, smarter and how can we modify past erors. Why not attend the meeting to learn what is going on, and offer your input; ask your questions.
