Join us on Saturday, June 17th for a Women’s Ride! The intent of this event is to encourage women, and men, with any level of experience to bike ride. Enjoy the company of other bike riders and make new friends while cycling through a beautiful Maui setting. Women and men are both welcome, even though the ride is focused on encouraging woman participants. Trained ride leaders will be available to facilitate and assist. All participants must wear helmets and refrain from using earbuds or headphones.
EVENT DETAILS
WHEN: Saturday, June 17 from 9:00am – 11:00pm

WHERE: Polo Beach Public Parking Lot – 4400 Makena Road, Makena

Food and juice will be served around 10 a.m. at end of ride at Polo Beach picnic tables next to parking lot.

RSVP: Email maui@hbl.org to reserve your spot! Please RSVP so we can plan on enough refreshments and so we can get an idea of how many people will be participating in each ride (2 routes available).

ROUTE OPTION 1:
 For beginning/intermediate riders; beach cruisers & fat tire bikes.
Polo Beach to Makena Landing
3.2 miles total roundtripRide will take place on Makena Road, with a portion of the ride on the Wailea Alanui Road Bike Lane.
 
ROUTE OPTION 2:
 For advanced riders on touring bicycles, average speed of 10-12mph 
Polo Beach to Ahihi-Kina’u
10-mile total roundtripRide will take place on Makena Road and Wailea Alanui Road Bike Lane.Route 2 will only occur if there is enough interest. Please indicate in your RSVP if you would like to participate in this ride.
