Last Community Meeting for 2017 This Tuesday

11/16/17  #kihei
With the upcoming general membership meeting approaching on Tuesday evening, 6;30 PM, NOV 21, we remind everyone of our continuing, never ending food drive, strongly advocating for generous non-perishable donations or checks for the Maui Food Bank. Bring yours to next Tuesday’s meeting.

It is time for the membership to vote for the 2018 Board of Directors. Remember all directors serve for a one year term, and while there are no term limits, there is no guarantee the prior directors will be back, and there will be some new faces for 2018.

Our general membership meeting, open to the community beyond our members for no charge, as always third Tuesday of the month at 41 E Lipoa, the Kihei Charter Middle School.

We’ll open – after the vote – with the awarding of the KCA Wiliwili Warrior Award for 2017, a presentation of the draft Southwest Maui Watershed Plan, and then our featured speakers Lucienne de Naie and Kelly King.

Still not a member? You let it lapse? Just zip over to that button on the home page to sign up. Mo betta: concerned about these issues? Jump on that button and apply for one of our committees. If you do not do it, who will? Do you want someone else planning for you and your ohana? For more info, call (508) 499-9996.

South Maui County Councilor Kelly King chairs the planning committee

  1. I think you mean the last Community meeting of 2017.

  2. Sometimes progressing forward thinking may make us too advanced for our own good 🙂
    Right you are. Mahalo
