Marine Water Quality Study information spurs strong interest.

#kihei 2/18/17 KCA volunteers supported our organization’s effort on Saturday by hosting a two person booth located in “eco-alley” at the annual #WorldWhaleDay, #PacificWhaleFoundation’s (PWF) event on the north side of Kalama Park. Alley goers stopped at the booth to examine the oversized three posters of three coastal shore line areas of Maui Island that illustrate our near shore water quality study.

Some guys donated, others became KCA members and volunteers for committee participation. Several signed up for our newsletter, but even more just talked story and asked questions about water quality and the study.

Once again we show dedication “to protecting, sustaining and enhancing our ‘?ina, kai and ‘ohana.”
